New: organise your whole tournament in 4planning, from schedule to bracket

Organising a tournament often means a spreadsheet full of groups, a separate email to the opponent about the schedule, and on the day itself keeping track of who still needs to play. From now on, 4planning does all of that for you. Set up your teams, let the app build a fair schedule and a knockout bracket, and follow along live all day — including for guest clubs that don't have an account with you.

Here is everything you can now do in the new Tournaments module: Automatically generate a schedule and bracket: You indicate how many groups you want, and the app divides your teams, schedules each match on a pitch and at a time while taking sufficient rest between matches into account. As soon as the group stages have been played, you generate the knock-out bracket with a single click, including a potential third-place play-off. Planny turns your wishes into a schedule: Just type whatever you want in plain language — “Zwaluwen insists on pitch 3, JO11-1 and JO11-2 must not play against each other” — and Planny automatically processes that into the generated schedule. Adjusting and recalculating afterwards is completely free of charge. Visiting clubs join in effortlessly: Invite a club without a 4planning account using a unique link. This allows them to see the schedule, current standings, and the bracket, and to submit a result themselves — without ever needing to log in. A timeline of highlights: list the best moments of the day, from the prize-giving ceremony to a photo of the winning action, visible to everyone watching via the public link.

That way, on the day itself, you only have to enter results — the rest, from scheduling to communication with visiting clubs, is handled for you by 4planning.
