Major transformation for the chat module with a modern interface, media files and emojis

We have completely rebuilt our built-in chat functionality – for both individual conversations and group chats. Communication within your teams and committees should be fast, intuitive, and fun, and with this major update, we are taking the complete chat experience to a modern, full-fledged level.

The most striking change is the brand-new UI/UX. The interface has been given a sleek and contemporary look that seamlessly aligns with the rest of the app. Under the bonnet, the logic behind the message flow has been optimised, resulting in noticeably faster chat loading times and instant message delivery for a smooth conversation experience.

In addition, we have significantly expanded the functional capabilities. It is now possible to share media files, documents, and photos directly in the chat. Images are shown directly as a preview, and documents can be viewed or downloaded directly by recipients. To make the interaction between your members even livelier, we have added full support for emojis. Whether it's a quick thumbs-up on a plan or a celebratory emoji for a successful event; communicating within 4planning is more fun and easier than ever.
