We've completely rebuilt our document module – both on the central documents page and within group documents. Document management is an essential part of your organisation, and with this major update, we're making storing, organising, and retrieving files more visual, faster, and much more intuitive.
The most notable change is the completely renewed UI/UX. The interface has been given a modern, sleek look and is lightning-fast. In addition, we are introducing full drag-and-drop functionality: you can now simply drag and drop folders and documents to organise your folder structure or move files.
To make the structure even clearer for everyone, we are introducing multiple view options. You can now effortlessly switch between the standard structure with visual cards or a compact list view. Whether you want to quickly browse through visual folders or need a streamlined list of file names at a glance; the interface adapts instantly to your preference. Thanks to this flexibility, management remains perfectly readable and clear for every member on any device, from a large desktop screen to a smartphone on the go.
To complete the overall visual experience, it is now possible to give folders their own colour. For example, give important folders a striking colour, or use a fixed colour coding per category or committee. Thanks to this combination of visual recognition, flexible displays and smooth operation, we are elevating document management within 4planning to a professional level, saving administrators and members valuable time.
