App update Android (1.8) – Direct documents, Google Wallet integration, and in-app ticket scanning

A powerful new update is ready for all our Android users. With the release of version 1.8, we've introduced a range of highly requested features and taken the app's stability to an even higher level at crucial points.

These are the main innovations and improvements in this release:

• Seamless document and ticket viewing: We've fully optimised the internal viewer. Purchased tickets, PDF files and photos will now open directly, lightning-fast and without any glitches within the app. No more blank screens or freezes, and the download functionality now works flawlessly too.
• With one tap to Google Wallet: Are you attending an event? You can now add your entry tickets directly to your Google Wallet with one simple tap. This means you'll always have your digital tickets readily available, even without opening the app.
• In-app ticket scanning for administrators: Are you organising an event with ticket sales? Administrators and scanning staff can now scan tickets directly at the entrance using the camera in the 4planning app. This makes access control faster, more mobile, and extremely efficient.
• Tweaking the basics Signing in with Google has been further optimised, the app will remember your login session for longer, so you don't have to log in again unnecessarily, and any error messages have been made much clearer. Finally, the processing of push notifications has been streamlined for smoother communication.
