Planny for Projects: From Initial Description to Materials List

Until now, creating a new project meant filling in the title, client, and schedule yourself – and once underway, you also had to figure out what materials you needed. Planny will now help you with both. Simply briefly describe what the project is about and Planny will not only prepare the title, description, and schedule, but will also recognise the client and suggest the first tasks immediately. And once you get started, Planny will help you think about the materials on the materials page.

This is how it works:

  • One description is enough: For example, type “Bathroom renovation at Jansen's, starting next Monday, must be finished before mid-August. First, take out the old tiles, then replace the pipework, then lay the new tiles” and Planny will get to work.
  • Title, description and schedule automatically filled in: Planny extracts a clear project title and description, and immediately fills in the start date and deadline where mentioned.
  • The customer recognised and introduced: If you mention a customer in your description, Planny will look them up in your customer list and get them ready. If the match isn't correct, you can easily adjust it yourself.
  • Taken direct als checklist: When you name concrete steps, they are immediately ready on your project as separate tasks.
  • Suggest materials on the project page: One click on “Suggest Planny materials” and Planny will suggest materials based on the project and what you’ve previously used with this client, including known prices.

This way, a new project is ready within a few seconds, and you also don't have to think about what you need each time during the project.
