Full control over your navigation with the renewed Main Menu

The way you navigate within 4planning has taken a huge leap forward. On the settings page, we're introducing a completely revamped user experience for managing the Sidenav – now called the Main Menu. Where you were previously tied to a fixed structure, you can now fully customise the menu structure of your app.

With this update, we are introducing unprecedented capabilities to optimise page structure and findability:

• Infinite levels and sub-menus: You are no longer limited to a flat list of buttons. From now on, you can work with handy main and sub-items, and even nest sub-items under sub-items. This is the ideal solution for neatly and organisedly storing all your commissions, document folders, or specific planning tools, for example, under one overarching menu item.
• Advanced audience management You can specifically set who sees the button per menu item. Should a page for everyone Is a link accessible? specifically for administrators meaning? • Fully multilingual (and dialects): The platform grows with you. Each menu item can be fully translated for every activated language within your app. Whether you want the buttons to be displayed in Dutch, English, German, or even in a specific local dialect; you can set it up effortlessly and separately for each language.

Thanks to this flexible setup, you can transform the Main Menu from a standard navigation bar into a dynamic, bespoke menu structure that perfectly aligns with your organisation's unique layout.
