Family accounts for effortless management of junior members and dependents

For associations and companies (like sports clubs), getting junior members or dependents (around 6 to 15 years old) properly registered in the app can be a significant administrative challenge. They often don't have their own smartphone or email address yet, but they still need to be on the attendance list, pay membership fees, or be assigned to a team. With the introduction of Family Accounts, we solve this problem in one go: parents or guardians will now manage their children directly from their own trusted account.

We have opted for a smart and extremely user-friendly design:

• Children as full members: Children are admitted to the system as full members. This ensures that all existing links – such as team arrangements, attendance, contributions, and Sportlink links – continue to work directly and flawlessly. They simply do not require their own login details; this is handled through the parent.

• All in one overview (No profile switching): We have deliberately not opted for a cumbersome system where you have to log out or switch profiles each time. The parent simply remains logged in as themselves. Relevant screens, such as the calendar or an events page, display the children clearly, one below the other. This allows a parent to sign themselves and their children in or out of an activity in the blink of an eye, all on one screen.

• Flexible linking (Useful for separated parents): The system is extremely flexible. It is possible to link multiple children to one parent, as well as multiple guardians to one child. This is the ideal solution for separated parents, for example, so that both parties remain fully informed.

• Smart notifications: Push notifications and emails intended for the child are automatically forwarded to linked guardians. Push notifications on the phone will also have a clearly recognisable prefix (e.g.: “👧 Emma: Training changed”), so you immediately know who the message is for.
