A screen in the canteen is wonderful, until someone has to keep it up to date — and weeks later a poster for a tournament that is long gone is still hanging there. That is why narrowcasting is now called Club TV: a screen in your canteen, hall or changing room corridor that automatically shows what is going on at your club, straight from 4planning. You don't have to keep anything up to date yourself, because everything you put in the app anyway appears on the screen automatically.
From now on you can arrange this completely by yourself, you just need a suitable screen:
Deciding for yourself what is shown: with a single switch per item, you turn on what your club wants to show — upcoming events, news, polls, matches and results, the scoreboard, the standings, birthdays, available bar shifts, today's shifts and your sponsors. Off means off, and tomorrow you simply turn it back on.
A unique atmosphere for each section: behind each block you put your own background, so that the news block looks different from the birthdays and the screen doesn't look like a spreadsheet.
Drink prices and opening hours in one place: You simply enter your price list and opening hours in 4planning, and they appear correctly on the screen immediately. Changed the price of a pint? Update it once, done.
Live footage in the canteen: If you are broadcasting a match, you turn on the livestream and paste the link. If you prefer to broadcast directly from OBS, your stream key is ready for you with one click on Generate. After the match, you turn the switch off again and the screen simply reverts to Club TV.
That way, that screen in the clubhouse won't be an extra chore, but the place where your members, parents and visitors can see at a glance what's going on at your club — even on the Saturday when you're far too busy to think about it yourself.
